It has been my experience having spent 10+ years in a corporate environment, that what starts at the top, trickles down. What the woman/man in charge thinks/believes/says/does, has a direct impact on the employees, the clients and the corporate culture itself.
Of course, much more contributes to the overall experience of a company in its entirety however, I like to assume that in most cases, the one in charge usually sets the direction and tone for what is most important to the company.
That is why it has been my pleasure to get work with some of the most forward-thinking Presidents and CEO’s our city may have to offer. I say this because they have made a priority of creating a work environment that inspires creativity and productivity, and communicates their brand to their team and their clients in an authentic and healthy way.
By working with my corporate clients to create environments that are a true reflection of the people who work in them, we can align with what encourages balance, achievement and positive interaction for them as individuals, and as a team, and build upon that.
“There is a lot of power in creating space with intention. Cher worked with my team and I collaboratively to create the office and clinic of our dreams. We are so proud of the space we work in”.
Tina Wong-Nielsen, Corporate Client
By understanding how our work environments can inspire or inhibit creativity and productivity, we can then design a space that supports the overall wellness of the culture and the people within it.
Start to become conscious of your own work environment. Does it inspire growth and creativity or does it feel stale and un-motivating? How we feel when we enter a space is important information that is so easily and commonly disregarded. Start paying attention to the spaces you occupy, particularly work, where we spend much of our time. How are these spaces making you feel? And how are these feelings contributing to your overall wellness both professionally, and personally?
If you are the leader, are you instilling healthy habits into your workplace? Are you creating a space that not only you feel excited to go to, but also somewhere that your staff can thrive? Are you in the business of helping or healing others? Does your space support the important work you are doing?
Creating our space with intention, especially when used for the purpose of offering goods or services to others, is so important. If you are a company or leader who wants to make more conscious business choices or want to create a healthy environment for yourself and your staff, feel free to book a complimentary consultation. No therapy couches here. We will meet side by side in your space – to experience it first hand and have a meaningful conversation. And because it’s your space, it’s on your terms and you are the expert.

“The task of leadership is not to put greatness into people, but to elicit it, for the greatness is there already”.
